Glynda Morrow James, age 67

Glynda Morrow James, age 67 of Forest City passed away Monday, August 24, 2015.

She was born April 15, 1948 in Rutherford County and is a daughter of Clara "Tat" Morrow of Forest City and the late Michael Morrow. Glynda was a lifelong member of Florence Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school in the Children's Department, taught the Children's Choir and was a member of the Mamie Hamrick "Sonshine" Sunday School Class. She was a retired teachers assistant in the Rutherford County Schools.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Bill James of the home, a son, Brian James and wife Dee of Campobello, SC, a daughter, Jennifer James Elliott and husband Nick of Forest City, two brothers, Rick Morrow of Marion, Tim Morrow of Forest City, and sister, Pam Metcalf of Spindale, three grandchildren, Payton James, Michael and Katie Elliott, and three step-grandchildren, Lily, Maggie, and Katie West.

Funeral services were held in the Florence Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Bobby Gantt officiating. Interment followed in the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
