Grace Edgerton age 89

Grace Edgerton age 89 of Rutherfordton passed away on September 18th 2013.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph Roy and Johnnie Goforth Logan. She was a retired bookkeeper for Sparkie’s Automobile dealership. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Lee Edgerton Jr. 

Grace is survived by her daughters Linda Edgerton, Sarah Edgerton and husband Russell Hyde, and Lee Anna Edgerton and Brittany Maxwell; sister in law Ruth Jones; grandchildren Logan Amaya Edgerton, Taber Hyde, Cheyenne, Josh and Madeline Power, Josie Maxwell and Brenden Maxwell. A number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held at Crowe’s Mortuary with Revs. Sam and Jane Whaley and Rev. Terry Honeycutt officiating.

A graveside service was held at Mt. Vernon Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Gladys Logan and Rev. Terry Honeycutt officiating. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County POB 336 Forest City NC 28043.
