Grace Frady Lattimore, 90

Grace Frady Lattimore, 90, of Rutherfordton, passed away December 5, 2013.  

She was born November 14, 1923, the daughter of Will and Minnie Shytles Frady.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Donald Lattimore.   She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Clarance Frady and Ralph Frady and one sister, Rachel Frady Earley. 

She graduated from R-S Central High School in 1941.  Prior to her marriage and during WWII she worked in Maryland at Glenn L. Martin aircraft manufacturing company as a timekeeper.  Grace spent most of her life in the Green Hill Community where she enjoyed working in her home, garden and yard making it a special place.  She also loved baking cakes for family and friends. 

Grace is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Davis and husband Danny, one grandson, John and one sister, Polly Sims, all of Rutherfordton.  She is also survived by many special nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were held at Southern Baptist Church, Ruth, NC. Burial followed at Calvary Baptist Church, Rutherfordton, NC.
