Grover Lee Keever, age 80, of Rutherfordton, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018.

He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Jessie Fidel Keever and the late Myrtle Susie Smith Keever. He was a US Army veteran and a member of Victory Baptist Church in Ellenboro. Grover was a retired contractor and worked very hard all of his life. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years Johnnie Keever. Two Daughters: Carol Ann Keever of the home. Tammy Keever Mace and her husband Ronnie. Two Sons: Tim Keever and his wife Cynthia. John Keever and his wife Leniece. One Sister: Vivian Pierce and her husband Jackie. Three Brothers: George Keever and his wife Judy. Claude Keever and his wife Genevia. Steve Keever and his wife Donna. Fourteen grandchildren and One Great-Grandchild.

The funeral service was held at Victory Baptist Church. Interment was held at Grays Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Rutherfordton.
