Harold John Fowler (Red, Johnny) went to his heavenly home May 14, 2017.

He served four years in the Air Force, was a Mecklenburg County Patrolman for sixteen years and a deputy with the Sheriff's Department before retiring as Sargent after ten years. He loved his church, CBA, Blue Knights, Sons of Confederate Veterans, HOGS, Norsemen, and his dog Teddy.

He leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Sandra; sons John of Monroe, GA and William of Charlotte; two grandchildren; sister, Connie Brown of Denton, and many other relatives and friends. He liked to keep people happy.

A celebration of life was held at Campfield Memorial Baptist Church in Ellenboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Campfield Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund.

Crowes Mortuary is assisting the family.
