Harold Robert Lowman, 71

Harold Robert Lowman, 71, of Forest City, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016.

A native of Lewis County, WV, he was the son of the late James and Mary Virginia Allen Lowman. Harold was a retired nursing home activities director, a member of Spindale United Methodist Church, and enjoyed the Church's Young at Heart group.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Brenda Ammons Lowman of the home; brother, Thomas W. Lowman of Atlanta, GA; a number of nieces and nephews, and special friends Scott and Alicia Burnette of Forest City and Pat and Barbara Ammons of Horner, WV. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by sisters Mary Regina Myles Hunkins and Barbara Lee Hevener and brother, John Wesley Lowman.

Memorial services were held at Crowe's Mortuary with Rev. Ross O'Neal officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spindale United Methodist Church, Christmas Tree Fund P.O. Box 241, Spindale, NC 28160.
