Hazel Fite Shehan

Hazel Fite Shehan went home to be with her Lord on September 7, 2015.

She was born in Kings Mountain, NC on April 14, 1934 and was a devoted homemaker, loving mom, ma maw and nannie.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Gailey Piercey Fite and siblings Lloyd, Earl, Clyde, Lee, Lewis, Raymond and Tommie Fite, George Pintuff, Claire Bivens, Lois Fite and Helen Peterson.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 61 years Arnold C. Shehan of the home, daughters Vicki Shehan Jones, Debbie Chapman and husband Jimmy, Rita Wall and husband Greg all of Forest City, NC; Lisa Smith and husband Jack of Mooresboro, NC; one son Michael Arnold Shehan and wife Beth of Forest City, NC; one brother Virgil Fite of Kings Mountain; thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Fox, Rev. Marvin Green and Rev. Danny Black officiating. Burial held in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rutherford County Hospice P.O. Box 336 Forest City NC 28043.

Crowes Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family.
