Hazel Hill Martin, age 99

Hazel Hill Martin, age 99, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015. 

She was born August 9, 1915 in Early County, Georgia to Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Hill.  Hazel was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Donaldsonville, GA and the Blakely Chapter No. 282 ORS-Eastern Star.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Martin and son-in-law Pruitt Walden.

Survivors include daughters, Mary Jane Walden of Forest City, Carolyn Barnes and husband Tommy of Helena, AL, and a brother, Colonel Harris Hill, US Army Ret. of Fayetteville, NC. There are also four grandchildren, Jennifer, Heather, Scott, and Steven as well as great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in Donaldsonville, Georgia.
