Hazel Hooper Hutchins, went home to be with the Lord recently while living in Tomball Texas.
She was born April 1, 1930 to Garland and Mae Owens Hooper in Rutherfordton, NC.
Hazel was married to Glenn Hutchins on March 29, 1953. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
Glenn and Hazel moved to Roswell, New Mexico in 1959, and lived there until she moved to Tomball Texas in 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn, her parents, one brother and four sisters.
Hazel is survived by one daughter, Karen Hutchins of Arizona, a son, Sam Hutchins of Midland Texas and son from Hutchins of Tomball Texas. Seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and on sister Dree Ruppe of Rutherfordton, NC.
A memorial service was held in Roswell, New Mexico at Bethel Baptist Church where she was a devoted member.
In lieu of flowers, donations were made to the American Caner Society.
