Helen Logan Flack was born July 7th, 1919

Helen Logan Flack was born July 7^th, 1919 in Hendersonville, NC to the late Willie and Erie Logan.  God called Helen home on July 26^th, 2012 where she was surrounded by her children. 

Helen accepted Christ as a young adult and united with Mitchell Chapel FBH Church where she held several positions within the church.  Helen was employed as a domestic worker and touched the lives of numerous families throughout the county. Helen was a young child when she and her parents relocated to Rutherfordton.  She was united in marriage to the late Dennis Flack.  From this union seven children were born.  She was preceded in death by her two eldest sons JC and Robert Flack. She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters Minnie (Eugene) Twitty, Mildred (Lee) Cannon, Lois Staton, and Klonia Flack and her youngest son Columbus (Donna) Flack.  Nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.   A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

Services were held at Crowe’s Chapel with the Rev. Verlon Pompey officiating. Graveside services followed at Piney Ridge CME cemetery.
