Horace Stanley Edwards, 83, of Mooresboro, passed away on Friday, February, 3, 2012.
A native of Greenville County, SC. Horace was born on November 6, 1928, a son of the late Stanley Walker Edwards and Loree Sanders Edwards Love.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Amos Edwards and one sister, Doris Edwards. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth McPherson Edwards; three sons, Rickey Carol Edwards of Easley, Rev. Stanley Horace Edwards, Jr., of Easley and Ronnie Dale Edwards of Greenville; two daughters, Brenda Edwards Brezeale of Easley and Lisa Edwards Miller of Easley; one step-daughter, Barbara Irvin Lahrmer (Lowell) of Mooresboro; one sister, Annie Sue Cody of Easley; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and ten step-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, POB 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
