Jack Clayton Rhodes Jr., 59

Jack Clayton Rhodes Jr., 59, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2013. 

A native of Gaston County, he was the son of Eleanor Smith Rhodes and the late Jack Clayton Rhodes Sr. Jack was a truck driver, working for Turner Trucking for ten years.

Left to cherish his memory, in addition to his mother, is his wife, Loretta Bailey Rhodes; two sons  Aaron Rhodes (Tracy) and Greg Rhodes (Mary); three grandchildren Breann McMurray, Matthew Rhodes and Shayna Rhodes; four sisters, Debbie Almond, Joan Worley, Diane Smith, Pam Bradley; brother Little Jack Rabb; mother in law, Alice Bailey; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a niece, Morgan Hodge and father in law, Claude Bailey.

Funeral services were held at Community Worship Center, Spindale, with Rev. J. Jeffords, Rev. Warren Elliott, and Rev. Dot Miller officiating. Interment followed in M and T Ministries cemetery.
