Jack Ruben Hardin, age 91

Jack Ruben Hardin, age 91, of Carolina Shores, NC formerly of Bostic, passed away on Tuesday January 15, 2019.

He was born on October 25, 1927 in Rutherford County. The son of the late, Worth Hardin and Pattie Henson Hardin also was preceded in death by his two sisters, Marie Porter and Myrtice Harrill; three brothers, Jim Hardin, Hoyle Hardin and Bill Hardin. Mr. Hardin was a member of Old Shallotte Baptist Church in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Carol B. Hardin of the home; a son Mike Hardin and his wife, Betty of Loris, SC; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

A celebration of his life was held in Old Shallotte Baptist Church.
