James Dennis Martin, age 60

James Dennis Martin, age 60, of Forest City, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020.

Born in Rutherford County, he was the son of the late James Martin and Betty Lou Martin Rogers. Dennis was of the Baptist faith and was an electrician with CKL Electrical Contractors. He enjoyed many activities including baseball, riding motorcycles, watching motor cross and fishing.

He is survived by a son, Casey Lee Martin of Forest City, and two grandchildren. Also surviving are his special family, Shirley Bumgarner, Amber Spencer, Bradley Spencer, Avis and B J Pritchard, and Taylor Pritchard.

Funeral services were held in The Padgett & King Chapel. Cremation followed services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
