James Franklin Page, age 84, of Forest City, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.

He was born November 24, 1934 in Polk County to the late James Herbert Page and Thelma Jones Page. James was a dedicated, faithful and long-time member of Floyd's Creek Baptist Church where he was a deacon, usher and served on many committees through the years. He was a car dealer by trade and the owner and operator of Page Used Cars for over fifty years. He enjoyed farming his land and raising cattle.

James was a kind and gentle man who never met a stranger. He was a loving husband, dedicated father, grandfather and great-grandfather and a man who loved the Lord with all of his heart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Coralie Gosey and brother, Alvin Page.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of sixty-five years, Annie Mae Page; two daughters, Vickie Henson and husband, Ronnie and Sharlene Ownbey and husband, Kenny, all of Forest City; one sister, Marcella Greene of Shelby; brother, William Henry Page and wife, Marlene of Green Creek. He is also survived by four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at Floyd's Creek Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Memorial donations are requested to Floyd's Creek Building Fund, 2004 Chase High Road, Forest City, NC 28043 or to the DCI (Dialysis Center of Boiling Springs, NC).

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
