PrintJames H. Burwell Jr, age 88 of Rutherfordton, NC passed away on July 5th 2014.
James was the son of the late James and Mozelle Burwell, and husband of the late Frances Burwell.
Left to cherish his memory are his three daughters Merri Oxley and husband Jamie, Anne Schley and husband Bob, Margaret Burwell, and husband Billy Martin. Four grandchildren Kathryn Burwell, Harman Martin, Caroline Martin, and Asher Martin.
Services were held at Crowe’s Chapel with Father William P. Austin officiating. Burial took place at Rutherfordton Cemetery. Donations may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County POB 336 Forest City NC 28043, or to the Norris Public Library 132 N. Main Street Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
Crowe’s Mortuary is serving the family.
