PrintJames Holcombe Stevenson, 63, of Asheville, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018.
He was the son of the late Clement Olin Stevenson, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Holcombe Stevenson who was from Shelby, NC. Besides his parents James was preceded in death by his brother Clement Olin Stevenson, Jr. who was killed in Vietnam.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife Karen Newkirk Stevenson a step-son Chris Newkirk of Greer, SC two brothers William Edward Stevenson of Seattle, Washington and Samuel Webb Stevenson of Marion, NC one sister Elizabeth Stevenson Fisher of Fairfax, Virginia.
A small intimate service was held at the Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery in Mooresboro.
Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside is serving the family.
