James Howard "Snook" Cromer, 85

James Howard "Snook" Cromer, 85, passed away June 17, 2018. 


A native of Chesnee, SC, he was the loving husband to Betty Houser Cromer and the son of the late Cleo Cromer Sr. and Emily Parris Keeter. He was an electrician, a Boy Scout Leader and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Mooresboro.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Vicky Cromer Jones (Davey) of Mooresboro; sister, Linda Keeter Hawkins (Robert) of Ellenboro; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. 
He was preceded in death by his son, James Richard Cromer and brother, Cleo Cromer, Jr.

The family received friends at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Mooresboro. Funeral services followed immediately in the church chapel. Rev. Kevin Hamrick officiated. Burial was held in the church cemetery.
