James Sanford Pfoutz Sr., age 76, of Rutherfordton, passed away on November 9, 2019.
James was the son of the late Carl Floyd Pfoutz and Dorothy Mae Woodmansee Pfoutz.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Marylin Phares Pfoutz; son James Pfoutz Jr. and his wife Trina; daughter Cynthia Pfoutz; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren, siblings Elaine St. Pierre, Rondo Pfoutz, Penny Jeffries, Jackie Jeffries, and Carl Pfoutz Jr.
Services were held at Mountain Creek Baptist Church in Rutherfordton. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Crowe's Mortuary and Crematory is serving the family.
