Janice Allen "Jan" Lovelace, age 74

Janice Allen "Jan" Lovelace, age 74 of Forest City passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019.

Jan was born in Rutherford County on January 11, 1945 to her parents, the late William "Bill" Allen and Lois Henderson Allen.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Forest City and had worked for the Rucker Insurance Agency in Rutherfordton and later for Insurance Service Associates in Forest City. Jan had also worked for Camp Trucking and McGee Trucking. She is well remembered for her work in the Craft Department at Wal-Mart where she retired.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Lovelace Pruett and her husband, Todd of Maryland, her brother, Jerry Allen of Spindale, two grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and a niece and two nephews.

The funeral service was held in The Padgett and King Chapel. Interment followed in the Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
