Janice Marie Gilbert Cline, 68

Janice Marie Gilbert Cline, 68, of Rutherfordton, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Paul Dupree and Helen Inez Prather Gilbert. She was a former housekeeper at Rutherford Regional Medical Center and a former employee of J.C. Cowan. Janice was also a member of Spindale Church of the Brethren.

Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Jimmy Gilbert, Dean Gilbert and Doug Gilbert; one granddaughter and one great grandson. She is also survived by special friend and caretaker Venita Hill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Cline, sons Lonnie and Jeff Cline and a brother Dennis Gilbert.

Memorial services were held at Crowe's Mortuary. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, P.O. Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043.

Crowe's Mortuary and Crematory is serving the family.
