Jason Eric Kennedy, age 35

Jason Eric Kennedy, age 35 of Forest City went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, May 13, 2015.

He was born June 14, 1979 in Rutherford County and is a son of W.D. and Terri Huntsinger Kennedy of Forest City. Jason was a truck driver for Tidewater Transit in Cowpens, SC. He enjoyed fishing and took a great interest in promoting and supporting the Juvenile Diabetes Association in honor of his daughter "Izzy" who herself is diabetic. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Claude Huntsinger and Sue Jolly and paternal grandparents, Paul and Emma Dixon Kennedy.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Heather Roane Kennedy, a daughter, Isabelle "Izzy" Kennedy both of the home, a brother, Marc Kennedy and wife Tracie of Forest City, and their children, Brayden and Addyson Kennedy, his father and mother-in-law, Larry and Sandy Roane of Union Mills, NC, brothers-in-law, Joshua Roane and wife Tori of Union Mills and their children, Shelby & Kylee Roane, and Matthew Roane and wife Jane of Weaverville, NC, and their son, Spencer Roane

Funeral services were held in the Cornerstone Fellowship with Reverend Mike Snelgrove and Reverend Mike Deese officiating. Interment was private for the family in the Cool Springs Cemetery.
