Jeanette Hammerstad, age 75, of Rutherfordton, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014.
A native of Amherst, WI, she was the daughter of the late John & Susie Zdroik Rekowski. Jeanette was a retired sales associate with WalMart.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Bernice Williams of Forest City; nieces Mary Jenkinson of Arizona, Orliea Sanders of California, Alecia Gonzales of Illinois and Theo Musich of California, and a number of great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Memorial services were held at Crowe’s Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
Crowe’s Mortuary is serving the family.
