Jerry Clifton Millard, age 64

Jerry Clifton Millard, age 64 of Bostic, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017.

Jerry was born on August 13, 1953 in Rutherford County and was a son of the late Charles Buster Millard and the adopted son of the late Huntley Vess who raised him. He worked for many years as a machinist for Watts Regulator and attended Campfield Memorial Baptist Church in Ellenboro.

Survivors include his mother, Modene Roberts Vess of Bostic, a son, Andy Millard and wife Stacey of Forest City, and two grandchildren.

A graveside service was held in the Cool Springs Cemetery with Reverend Scott Huffman officiating.
