Jerry Dean Harris, age 81

Jerry Dean Harris, age 81, passed away Wednesday October 18, 2017.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Janice Byars Harris plus 8 brothers and sisters; Mildred Dedmon, Harold Harris, Walda Allen, Brian Harris, Kermit Harris, Helen Rule, Max Harris, and Earl Harris.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, Lee and his wife Kim Harris of Mooresboro. Also, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. The family would like to acknowledge special niece Tois Taylor and her husband Steve.

Services were held at Camps Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Buddy Moorehead, Dr. Steve Taylor and Rev. Lamar Hewitt officiating.

The family would like memorials made to Camps Creek Baptist Church, 2318 Camp Creek Church Road, Mooresboro, NC 28114

Interment was held in the church cemetery with military honors provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.

Arrangements are entrusted to Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside.
