Jim Cook, age 75 of Lake Lure passed away on July 15 2017.

Jim was retired from FW Woolworth as a district manufacturing manager, and later went on to open Jimbo's General Store in Abingdon Virginia, and later moved to Lake Lure where he started Four Season Cottages and Cabins. Jim was the son to the late Bill and Etta Ratliff Cook. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Bob A. Cook. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Patsy Wills Greenway Cook. In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Chad Cook and wife Paige, son Heath Cook and wife Brenda; one granddaughter, and brother Bill R Cook and wife Tessa Cook.

Services will be held on Sunday July 23, 3pm at Fairfield's Mountain Chapel with the Rev. Everett Chapman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the church service.
