Joann Johnson Stevens 79

Joann Johnson Stevens 79, of Bostic, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016.

A native of Lancaster, SC, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Myrtle Hill Johnson. She was a retired textile employee and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Ronald Dean Stevens and wife Candace "Candee", Sandy Stevens Warren and husband Kenneth "Ken", and Gary Wayne Stevens and wife Tammy; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Gilda Sims, Brenda Mathis, Patsy Martin, Betty Patterson, Wilma Vance and Gail Swofford; and brother Roy Dean Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Peggy Warren and brother Ronald Clyde Johnson.

A celebration of life was held at Crowe's Chapel with Rev. Perry Jones officiating. Burial held in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
