Joe Harrison McFarland "Joe Cool", age 63

Joe Harrison McFarland "Joe Cool", age 63, a native of Cleveland County, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018.

He was born to the late William Plato and Mary Aileen Brackett McFarland in Shelby.

"Little Joe" leaves behind to cherish his memories his longtime companion and friend, Shirley Holland of Casar; daughter, Candice Rome (Ernie) of Casar; son, Nathan McFarland (Kristina) of Hickory; daughter, Destiny McFarland of California; four grandchildren.

For most of his life, "Joe Cool" worked at Deviney Lumber in Casar. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching Nascar Racing and most of all spending time with his family and loved ones. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A funeral service was held at Robert Morgan Funeral and Cremation Service, LLC.
