PrintJoe Vickers, age 92, of Union Mills, passed away Monday, September 16, 2019.
He was the son of the late Crawford Vickers and the late Nora Rumfelt Vickers and a native of Rutherford County. Joe was the widower of the late Lucy Johnson Vickers. He was a member of Oaks Springs Baptist Church where
He was in charge of the cemetery and was a Deacon for many years.
He is survived by: One Daughter: Joann Owens and her husband Bobby Owens. Two Sisters: Lillie Bumgradner, Rosa Adair and her husband Walter Adair. One Brother: Paul Vickers and his wife Betty Jo. One Grandchild. Two Great-Grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at Oak Springs Baptist Church. Interment held at Oak Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
