John Braxton Price, 83, of Mooresboro, passed away on Sunday February 19, 2012.
Funeral services were held at Cliffside Baptist Church. Burial followed at the Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery
He was born on April 20, 1928, a son of the late Martin and Bethel Bailey Price. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served in the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Roscoe Price and Edgar Price and one sister, Eloise Peeler. He is survived by his wife, Louise Wall Price; two sons, Wesley Price and wife Barbara of Pennsylvania and Dale Price and wife Linda of Cliffside; one daughter, Beth Francis and husband Neil of Ellenboro; one sister, Irene Ramsey of Chesnee; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
