John Michael Burgo, age 50

John Michael Burgo, age 50, of Ellenboro, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015.

John was a native of Ft. Wayne, IN. He was the son of the late John "Jack" David Maher. He worked as a roofer. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his daughter Brooke Burgo.

He is survived by his wife: Erika King Burgo. Three Daughters: Brittany Burgo of Ellenboro, Gwendlyn Ferguson and her husband Kalib of Rutherfordton, Skylar Burgo of the home. One Son: Avery Capps of Rutherfordton. Mother: Nancy Maher of Lake Wales, FL. Three Sisters: Christina Mayse of Rutherfordton. Lisa Asbury of Lake Wales, FL. Dianna Maher of Lake Wales, FL. One Brother: Michael Maher of Rutherfordton and two grandchildren.

Funeral service was held at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend

Jack Crain and Reverend Rhonda Brown officiatting. Interment was held at Cool Springs Cemetery, Forest City, NC.
