JOHNEY HUNSINGER

Johney Franklin Hunsinger, 88, Forest City, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014. 

A native of Rutherford County, he was born on June 01, 1926, a son of the late James Lee Hunsinger & Maudie Jo Holland Hunsinger. He was retired from the Textile Industry.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Flossie McKinney; 3 brothers, Charlie Hunsinger, Jim Hunsinger & Joe Hunsinger; 2 sisters, Bell Price & Mary Bland. He is survived by one son, Donald Norman & wife Ann of Shiloh; 2 daughters, Patsy Hunsinger Bradley & husband Jerry of Forest City & Vera “Vicki” Hunsinger Hill & companion Anthony of Forest City; 1 sister, Cordie Skipper of Shiloh; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild. 

A Celebration of Johney’s Life was held at  A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leon Brown & Connie Jennsion officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. 

McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral and Cremation Service is serving the Hunsinger family.
