Johnnie Sue Atchley Conner, 94

Johnnie Sue Atchley Conner, 94 of Spindale passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020.

She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Robert Logan Atchley and Pannie Effie Freeman Atchley. Johnnie was a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and a member of Spencer Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Left to cherish her memory is son, Harold Dean Conner and wife Eva Lou Melton Conner of Forest City; daughter, Brenda Kay Conner Hodge and husband David of Spindale; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Charles Atchley of Bostic; sister, Geneva Wilson of Forest City. In addition to her parents, Johnnie was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin L. Conner in 1990, son Robert Stephen "Steve" Conner in 2012, brother, Glenn and Ray Atchley and sisters, Mary Kimbrell and Lennie Jones.

Funeral services were held at Spencer Baptist Church, Spindale. Interment l followed in Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
