Jonas Burl Conner, age 90 of Union Mills, passed away on September 23, 2018.

Jonas was the son of the late Simon Jacob Conner and Esther Sarah Hodge Conner. In addition to his parents Jonas was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Hall Conner; sister Dorothy Young; sister Frances White; brother Jay Conner; brother Frank Conner; brother Hicks Conner; a grandson; and son-in-law Frank Melton.

Jonas was of the Baptist faith, a former member of the Union Mills Fire Department and was a loving and caring family man. He is now reunited with his loving wife Dot with whom he shared 61 years of marriage.

Left to cherish his memory are his son Dean and wife Jeannie Conner; son Edward and wife Karyn Conner; daughter Pat Street and husband Claude; daughter Barbara Moore and husband Steve; daughter Judy Melton; brother Don Conner; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.

Services were held at Crowe's Mortuary. Burial followed at Round Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
