Joseph Gordon "Joe" Tedore, age 78

Joseph Gordon "Joe" Tedore, age 78 of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017.

Joe was born January 19, 1939 in Washington, DC and was a son of the late Thomas and Rebecca Freeman Tedore. He served his country in the United States Army where he retired as a First Sergeant with 23 years' service.

Survivors include his fiancée, Linda Emory, three step children, Frankie Wilson of Georgia, David Emory of Forest City, and Debra Emory Connor of Rutherfordton, two brothers, Bobby Tedore and Johnny Tedore, and two sisters, Joyce Evans and Linda McCullum as well as a number of step grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

At the request of Mr. Tedore there will be no formal service.

The Padgett and King Mortuary & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
