Joyce D. Rhodes, age 72

Joyce D. Rhodes, age 72, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020.

Joyce was born August 11, 1947 in Rutherford County to the late Earl Ballard and Betty Womack Ballard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-one years, Arthur Rhodes, Sr. and brother-in-law, Danny Silver.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Rebecca Rhodes Millette (Brian) of Forest City; son, Arthur Lawrence Rhodes, Jr. (Lynn Wright) of Gaffney; a grandson; sister, Shirley Ann Silver of Mooresboro; brother-in-law, Kenneth Rhodes of Ohio; aunt of Louisiana.

The service will be private for the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to Harrelson Funeral Home, 1251 US Highway 221A, Forest City, NC 28043 to help defray funeral costs.
