Joyce Frashier Jones, age 70

Joyce Frashier Jones, age 70, of Rutherfordton, passed away Friday, March 6, 2020.

Joyce was born January 4, 1950 in Rutherford County to the late Joe Clark Frashier and Demmie Kay Henson Frashier.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Marvin, Glen and James Frashier and three sisters, Mary Lou Duncan, Jean Hopper and Louise Sprouse.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of fifty-one years, Clayton Jones; two daughters, Cindy Shields (Terry) of Columbus, NC and Crystal Laughter (Todd) of the Shiloh Community; son, Brian Jones (Denise) of Rutherfordton; two grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Crayton Frashier (Elaine) of Holly Springs and Dean Frashier (Deborah) of Harris; five sisters, Marlene Adams of Shiloh, Wilma Epley (Donald) of Harris, Margaret McCombs (Joe) of Harris, Brenda Jackson of Shiloh, Judy Epley (Scott) of Holly Springs and two brothers-in-law, Harold Jones of Forest City and Ronnie Hopper of Harris.

The funeral service was conducted at Holly Springs Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
