Joyce Walker Zink, 76

Joyce Walker Zink, 76, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Edmond and Sarah Luna Jenkins Walker. She was a retired nurse, having worked on a cruise ship and in nursing homes.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Jean Walker Daves of Forest City; brother, Charles Hubert Walker of Sandy Mush; sister in law, Linda D. Walker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Oliver Wendell Holmes, sisters, Lorene Walker Pitchford, Dorothy Walker Arrowood, Shirley Walker, and brother, David Walker.

Memorial services were held at Crowe's Mortuary with Rev. Bob Philbeck officiating.

Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the family.
