Juanita Harrill Carver, 91, formerly of Rutherfordton, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Earl and Leora Hill Harrill. Juanita was a retired public health nurse, a member of First Baptist Church Rutherfordton, and previously served on the Board of Directors for The Church of the Exceptional.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Scott Carver and wife Beverly of New Market, Al; sister, Elizabeth Ann McCusker of Shady Valley, TN; two grandsons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Carver, son, Daniel Carver, sister, Virginia Hill, and brothers, Yates Harrill, Wilburn Harrill, J.B. (Shorty) Harrill, and Charles G. Harrill.

Funeral services were held at Crowe's Mortuary. Rev. Tim Marsh officiated. Interment followed in Eternal Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, PO Box 839, Rutherfordton, NC 28139 or Kindred Hospice, 5000 Bradford Dr. NW Suite 3A, Huntsville, AL 35805.
