Judith Ann Jalowiec Beal, age 74

Judith Ann Jalowiec Beal, age 74 of Bostic passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016.

She was born February 22, 1942 and was a daughter of the late Theodore and Beatrice Guthman Jalowiec. Judy was a graduate of Elyria High School in the Class of 1960. She worked as a radiologist at St. Joseph Hospital in Lorain, Ohio and went on to graduate from Lorain County Community College with a degree in nursing. Judy worked at Elyria Memorial Hospital until moving with her family to Rutherford County where she worked in the Emergency Department at Rutherford Regional Medical Center from 1984 until 1998. She had served as the Assistant Director of the Emergency Department and was MICN certified. Judy was also a faithful member of Salem United Methodist Church. Her husband, Donald Beal preceded her in death in 2009.

Survivors include two sons, Brian Beal and wife Kim of Sharpsburg, GA, Brad Beal and wife Melissa of Knoxville, TN, a daughter, Julie Beal Hollifield and husband Bobby of Bostic, a brother, Lynn Jalowiec of Grafton, OH, a sister, Susan Maurer of Yardley, PA, her seven grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services were held at Salem United Methodist Church with Reverend Melinda Penry officiating. Interment followed in the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery.
