Judy Robinson Jones, age 76 of Ellenboro, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018.

Judy was born March 3, 1941 in Cherokee County, SC and was a daughter of the late Frank and Eddie Fish Robinson. She was a homemaker and for many years was a faithful caregiver to several elderly patients in the community. Judy was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and was the wife of the late Nelson Jones who died in 2017. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Susie Smart, and brothers, Jack and Roger Robinson.

Judy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In recent years her greatest joy was keeping her great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Jones Watts of Mill Spring, one granddaughter, two great-grandchildren, a brother, P.D. Robinson and wife Sharon of Ellenboro, three sisters, Betty Lattimore and Reba Lattimore and husband Hugh all of Rutherfordton, Bernice Goode of Maiden, NC, sister-in-law, Judy Kay Bowman and Barbara Harrison.

Funeral services were held at Corinth Baptist Church. Rev Mike Conner and Rev. Dr. David Jendrey officiated. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
