Judy Weathers, age 63

Judy Weathers, age 63, of Ellenboro, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017.

Born June 28, 1953 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the late S.B. McIntyre and Geneva Adair McIntyre. Judy worked for Abercrombie and Snyder Mills for over 25 years. She was a lifetime member of High Shoal Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was also the church custodian. Judy invested her life in her grandchildren, enjoyed cooking, working in the flower garden and singing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 46 years, Tony Weathers; daughter, Melissa Weathers Dover of Ellenboro; two sons, Jason Weathers and wife, Katrina of Forest City and Andrew Weathers and wife, Amanda of Union Mills; her twin sister, Julie Norman and husband, David of Earl, NC; three brothers, Bobby McIntyre of Shreveport, Louisiana, Jerry McIntyre and wife, Debbie and Joey McIntyre and wife, Dena all of Mooresboro. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at High Shoal Baptist Church with Revs. John Godfrey and Eugene Passmore officiating. Interment followed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are respectively requested to the Spinal Bifida Association, 1600 Wilson Blvd. Suite 800, Arlington, VA 22209.
