Julien "Juicy" Reid Wellman, age 19

Julien "Juicy" Reid Wellman, age 19 passed away on September 25, 2018.

Julien graduated from R.S. Central High school in 2017 and worked at Greenhill Store for two years. He recently started a new job with Signature Collision.

Julien was a kind and gentle person with a great big heart. He made it a point to let other people know they mattered and that he was there for them. No words can convey the loss that we all feel.

Julien enjoyed spending time with his family and special girlfriend, Kerri Morris. He also enjoyed skateboarding and writing short stories such as "Super Shark" which was about a vegetarian shark and "An Unfortunate Experience" which detailed a cereal mixing incident.

Left to mourn Juicy's passing are his parents, James Wellman, Jr. and Heather Wellman, two brothers - Javen Wellman and James Wellman, III, one sister, Marlee Wellman, his girlfriend Kerri Morris, longtime friend Dylan Long with as well as a number of other family members and friends.

A celebration of Julien's life was held at Lake Lure Baptist Church. The burial took place at Piney Knob Baptist Church Cemetery, Rutherfordton.

Our Juicy has been and will forever be loved. We will miss him every day and look forward in joyful anticipation of being home with him in Heaven on day.
