Katherine Howell Barron, age 66

Katherine Howell Barron, age 66, of Chesnee, SC, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019.

Katherine was born September 9, 1953 in Fulton County, Georgia to the late James Buren Howell and Pauline Collins Howell. She worked as a nurse's aide and later as a machinist for Copeland Manufacturing. Katherine also served as a volunteer firefighter at the Cliffside Fire Department. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed horseback riding, dancing, shopping and especially taking care of her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Ray Howell and Richard Wayne Howell.

Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Tabitha Nicole Bumgarner (Jesse) of Georgia and Tracy Michelle Bumgarner (Honorio Roblero) of Chesnee; three sons, Timmy Wayne Condrey of Henrietta, Joseph Lee Hudson of Ohio, Jose Miguel Mata of Forest City and one sister, Carol Catoe of Forest City. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel.
