Kathy Goforth Fowler, age 35

Kathy Goforth Fowler, age 35, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016.

She was born on November 8, 1980 in Cleveland County and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and enjoyed drawing, writing poetry and spending time on Facebook. She was known for her wonderful sense of humor.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Ruth Goforth; maternal grandparents, Ida and Dazel Morrow; brother, Johnny Fowler and step-father, Donald Waters.

Survivors include her mother, Nancy Morrow Waters and companion, Bobby Euten of Shelby; father, Robert Goforth and wife, Ann of Forest City; four children, Terra Fowler, Kayla Fowler, Malachi King and Peyton King all of the home; one grandchild; six brothers, David Hughes, Micheal Hughes, Darrell Goforth and wife, Barbie, Richard Goforth and wife, Carol Ann, Jason Goforth and Johnathan Goforth and wife Teri all of Forest City; two sisters, Heather Goforth and husband, Tom and Tasha Kegley and husband, Andrew also of Forest City. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend David Hawkins officiating. Burial will be private.
