Kay Powell Price, 77

Kay Powell Price, 77, of Boiling Springs, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015.

A native of Cherokee County, SC, she was born on January 05, 1938, a daughter of the late Broadus Pinkney Powell and Lucy Inez Hames Powell. She retired from the Cafeteria at Gardner-Webb University in 2000.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Charles Price; one son, Ricky Price; one brother, Keith Powell. She is survived by her son, Terry Price and wife Robin of Boiling Springs; her daughters, Deborah Harris, of the home, and Teresa Greene and husband Danny of Ellenboro; her brother, Kenneth Powell of Boiling Springs; her sister, Norma Terry, of Cliffside; her grandchildren, Dusty Price, Emanuel Harris, Ashley Greene, and Caleb Harris; her great grandchildren, Mikayla Dailey, Ethan Harris and Hannah Harris; one very special friend, Harold Lee Vassey. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Cleveland County for all of their care to Kay.

Graveside services were held at Cliffside Cemetery with the Rev. Chad Jones officiating.
