Keith Lewis Dobbins, age 64

Keith Lewis Dobbins, age 64 of Forest City passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017.

He was born March 13, 1953 in Rutherford County and was a son of the late Roscoe and Eunice Harrill Dobbins. Keith worked in the Durable Medical Equipment Department for Smith's Drugs of Forest City where he retired. He was a lifelong Baptist and a former member of Concord Baptist Church. He was an avid coin collector and loved old cars.

Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Dantzic Dobbins, a daughter, Jennifer Dobbins Armstrong and husband John of Cliffside, a sister, Christine Broome of Fayetteville, two grandchildren, three nieces.

The funeral service was held in the Mausoleum Chapel at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family request no flowers and instead consider a donation to the National Kidney Foundation of North Carolina, 5970 Fairview Road, Charlotte, NC 28210.

The Padgett and King Mortuary & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
