Kids Helping Kids

Students at Sunshine Elementary School saved aluminum tabs to benefit Shriners Hospitals. The school collected 30 gallons of tabs. The class that collected the most was Susan Padgett and Emily Peeler's kindergarten class, who collected more than six gallons. The students were rewarded for their efforts with an ice cream social presented by Past Presidents Wayne Bumgardner, George Padgett and Dale Ramsey (not pictured.)
