Lala Lane, age 82, formerly of Caroleen, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020.
Lala was born October 14, 1937 in Rutherford County and was the youngest of twelve children born to the late John Lane and Alma Frazier Lane.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Lane Ervin; a granddaughter; eleven brothers and sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory include one granddaughter, one grandson, two great-grandchildren; a special niece, and son-in-law, James Whiteside of Caroleen.
A graveside service was conducted at the Avondale-Caroleen-Henrietta Cemetery.
