Larry Dean McDaniel, 70

Larry Dean McDaniel, 70, of Cliffside, passed away on Sunday, February 09, 2014. 

A native of Rutherford County, he was born on January 10, 1944, a son of the late T.J. and Lillian Keeter McDaniel. He was retired from Cone Mills Corporation, Cliffside Plant, after 35 years of service. He was a member of Cliffside Baptist Church; he loved sports, the New York Yankee’s and loved gardening.

He is survived by his brothers, Gary McDaniel and wife Robin of Cliffside, Jeff McDaniel and wife Teresa of Mooresboro and Danny McDaniel and wife Brenda of Zebulon; one sister, Jane Keeter of Mount Holly; his nieces and nephews, Brett Keeter, Mitchell McDaniel, Stephen McDaniel, Brandie McDaniel, Stephanie Moore and Haley Maxwell; great nieces and nephews, Victoria Moore, Dylan Moore, Cody Maxwell, Laurel Brooks, Tess McDaniel and Colt Maxwell.

A Celebration of Larry’s Life was held at Cliffside Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Neil Haynes officiating.
